Batch removing the COMMENT data in MP3 metadata

Sorry if I am in the wrong place but I saw your forum and needs some help.
I have lots of MP3 files and the COMMENTS in metadata are full of crapola.
I can remove COMMENTS one at a time but looking for a method to remove/delete all the data in all of the COMMENTS as it is really crap.

A nice BATCH program to edit metadata could be useful for albums.

I have looked but can not find the answer to this problem.

Anyone care to help me?

Audacity can’t do that.

Install Mp3tag.

Open the files in MP3tag (for example, use File > Add directory… to add the MP3’s from a folder).

Select all the files in the window in the right, then in the Comment: field on the left, choose “”.

Then File > Save tag.

If I leave the other fields blank, will it erase all the other data too?

It is just the COMMENTS I want to BLANK but leave the other data in tact.

All I can say is that I tried it and if I only choose for the Comment field, only the comments tags are removed.
