i think i may be posting to the wrong spot but i am a noobie and don’t know the right spot so please be kind when you tell me and maybe point me to the right spot. i am looking for a copy of audacity version 2.1 amd read a post here dated feb 2025 that still pointed to github and fosshub as sites to download it. the links appear to be broken, github points to foshub but if i click download i get redirected to audacity4 home page. is there anywhere i can obtain a copy or has that boat sailed. thanx for listening.
The version of 2.4.2 I downloaded from Fosshub, (official), has the same MD5 as this version from the Internet Archive …

Thank you for taking the time and interest to respond. I actually found an archive of all v2 levels on softonics. before i used them (softonics reputation is sometimes questiaoable ) I ran it by windows AI which cleared tham and they do work without injecting any viruses malware or advertisements. best of all audacity points you to a download page for ffmpeg so it will play xwm files.
