Audio Units User Presets

Audacity 2.1.1
Yosemite 10.10.4

Any know where Audacity stores the User Presets I create with the AUGraphicEQ effect?

The User Presets should be stored in ~/Library/Application Support/audacity/pluginstettings.cfg. But that is not intended as a user-editable file. Manage the User Presets from the Manage menu.

Thank you Gale.

The IMac I am using is a used computer which had Mavericks installed when I got it. All the EQ presets I created with Audacity were stored in: Home/Library/Audio/Presets/Apple/AUGraphicsEQ.

I was able to highlight and copy all the EQ presets I created with Audacity to another folder for backup.

Everything was working fine. Then, all of a sudden all the presets I created changed. They still had different names, but they all showed the same graphic, even after restoring them from the backups I made.

The Presets folder I mentioned above, along with the Apple folder, had a folder named Sony. I think now there may have been a conflict with some other software on this computer. After formatting and installing a fresh copy of Yosemite, there is no longer a Presets folder in the Home/Library/Audio folder.

In the meantime, can someone tell me how I can export multiple EQ presets using the manage feature in Audacity? Will I be able to use these as backups?

Update,

After using the manage feature to Export my EQ presets, the “Presets/Apple/AUGraphicsEQ” folder was created in the “Home/Library/Audio” folder. All the presets are there.
