I have configured auducity to work with my new usb mic. But now that I have after i’m done and Go back on the web the audio doesn’t work there. for example I did some recording with the audicity and after I was done closed the program went and went on youtube. there no sound. I went back into audcity it was working I can get sound but outside the program. What is happening?
Windows sometimes likes to capture the speaker feed when you plug in a USB microphone. It’s a common problem. Everything should return to normal if you unplug the microphone and close Audacity.
You can also go into the Windows Control Panels and put the speaker service back where it’s supposed to be, even with the USB microphone plugged in. Disconnecting the microphone is easier.
