Audacity was working fine until we plugged a USB cord into our computer and now we can’t get our audio to play back into our headphones like before. Help!
After any changes to the computer sound system (such as adding or removing a USB audio device), either
restart Audacity
or
“Transport menu > Rescan Audio Devices”
That allows Audacity to see the new configuration.
Then check in the Device Toolbar that the correct devices are selected for recording and playback.
