Hello! I have recently moved to Linux Mint from Windows 11, and wanted to record something. However, whenever I record, the stuff to show loudness (I am not a technical person sorry) isn’t centered. It’s bugging me a lot, and I know how to manually fix it, but even then it’s not completely fixed. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
DC Offset is usually caused by a hardware problem (a cheap soundcard). It can be fixed with an option in the Normalize Effect. But an offset does limit how loud you record without clipping (distorting).
