Audio Capture from Tape issues

Hey folks. New user here so do forgive me if I come across as a little naive.

Ive bought an Ezcap Cassette player, and a Digitnow USB audio capture card. Ive installed Audacity, and now want to capture my tape audio.

As I goto record a new wav file, I keep getting an error 9999 - Unanticipated host error. Any help would be amazing folks.

There seems to be more than one model of this device. Please specify.

Where does this .wav come from?

What is connected how to what?

What operating system (Name and version)?
