Audible Input Monitoring Crashes

I’m trying to record a record player as a stereo device over USB. I can click record, stop it, and play it back, and that works fine. I’d like to be able to listen to the record as I’m recording it, so I went into Edit > Preferences > Recording and checked Audible Input Recording. With this set, Audacity crashes when I click Record.

I’m running Pop OS 22.04 (based on Ubuntu). I’m running Audacity 3.6.1 via the Flatpak.

Any thoughts?
