Audacty does not record

I want to record a streaming radio program. It has worked previously. When I had started the radio program I clicked on the record button in Audacity and it started to record.
Now when I follow the same procedure there is no input to the recording. Recording runs but there is nothing to record. The sound is not picked up by Audacity. Why?

Select WASAPI (loopback) and if you have more than one audio device, select the loopback device where the sound is coming-out.

Note that WASAPI won’t start if there is no digital audio stream so you may have to start playback before you start recording. (It can record a silent stream but it can’t record no-stream.)
