So I’m trying to use a TC Electronics ampworx’s USB di output with cabinet Sim. But Audacity isn’t seeing it. My windows 10 computer sees it with the driver under audio, gaming, usb. So I’m wondering what’s going on here and how can I use this as intended as a usb direct box for instrumentation? All I get are the real tek options, re scanning shows nothing, and I had it plugged in before starting audacity.
Can you actually hear it through the computer? Try Listen To This Device which doesn’t require any application.
It seems like there is more than one Ampworx product but I found this:
- USB – Connect to a computer using the
included mini-USB cable for firmware updates.
It doesn’t say it works as an audio interface. 
I think you need a USB audio interface with an instrument input, which you can plug the Ampworx into.
