i just installed Audacity, and it won’t run on my windows 7 ultimate, got a system error message that says - program cant start because Api-ms-win-crt-runtime-/1-1-0.dll - is missing from your computer. try re-installing this program to fix this. picture attached to this message, any help please

Please note also that Windows 7 has been discontinued and is no longer supported by Microsoft.
From here on, you should avoid using Windows 7 online as security vulnerabilities in Windows 7 will not be fixed.
(If you do not wish to update to Windows 10, you could consider replacing Windows with Linux. For an older machine, I would recommend “Xubuntu”, which will feel pretty familiar coming from Windows 7.)
