Hi all, . Recently installed audacity on my mac mini. Using an M-Track Solo M-Audio interface. It worked fine on logic DAW . On Audacity, when i try to record a track, there’s no signal coming in. I’ve checked all the recording settings and it’s “seeing” my USB CODEC as the recording device but no signal is getting to the track. I can hear music if i play spotify but nothing goes to track. Thoughts?

You need to grant access for Audacity: System Settings → Privacy and Security → Microphone
Thank you unfortunately that didn’t do it unless I’m doing something wrong. I open a track and hit the red record button . Pretty straightforward.

What is the setting of the input volume in Audacity?
By the way, would also be important what version of Audacity and what version of macOS you use.
Microphone is set to on and he level shows 100% .
