Audacity will not open mp3 but Windows Media Player does?

Since Audacity 2.3.3 will open MP3s, what you have isn’t an MP3.

You can use Media Info On-Line to discover what it really is.

I think it still works that you can install FFMpeg into your Audacity to open up many different file types.
