Hi all,
basically I was planning to update Audacity to 2.05 from 2.04, but just suddenly today, my interface had enlarged waveform scales,
with numbers 1.0 and -0.5 appearing in the scale at standard track width, normally the numbers would be smaller and numbers
1.0, 0.5, 0, -0.5 and -1.0 would be visible. I did update to 2.05 but the scale did not revert to normal, neither after resetting
configuration or reinstalling after restart. Attached is a snapshot of the enlarged scale, can someone please rectify this for me
please? Thanks.
You magnified the display by accident. Mouse over those numbers and your cursor will change to a +. Press the Shift key and the cursor will change to -. click and the display will shrink back to normal. It may take more than one click.

Hi Koz,
thanks for replying, for some strange reason the waveform scale reverted to normal width after normal startup from
shutdown (numbers shown now include 1.0, 0.5, 0.0, -0.5 and -1.0). I can’t tell if your trick would have fixed the scale’s
width in the first place, but it seems that it’s the equivalent default to zooming out if the right mouse button was clicked
over the scale area, which I usually use. Using “shift+left click” or “right click” however didn’t change the width of the
waveform scale. Anyway, thanks for that.
