Audacity voice quality is noticably worse than google chrome's

ive noticed that in audacity my voice recording quality is worse than google chrome’s, which records it perfectly; and i wanna make it so audacity records it like chrome

fyi, both use the same microphone (which is the default one, grupo de microfones tecnologia intel smartsound)

Sounds like “audio enhancements” have been applied to the “AUDACITY” audio,
(Such enhancements can be on by default, and there can be more than one layer).
