One note. I’m betting you don’t need to be there actually reading the whole time. You can probably start recording and go make coffee. Come back in 90 minutes and see if the computer stopped recording.

The bad news is I’m out of ideas. Watching your recording stop at 90 minutes each time is super unusual. As I posted up the thread, if someone gave me a lot of money, I couldn’t think of a way to program the computer to do that on purpose.
If shutting down didn’t clear the problem we can wait for someone else to post.
I see Windows has an application called Voice Recorder. That’s good out to 3 hours. You might try that.

As a total side issue, ACX requests your chapters present as individual sound files. Nobody, as an example, wants a 200 page book presenting as a single sound file. If you do chapter breaks like that, is it possible you just don’t run into the 90 minute problem?

Anyway, thank you for your assistance. I have just read the book 12 hours, and as I wrote it was my personal project. I do not have any intentions to continue reading and I do not have any nerves to experiments

Now I have installed nox emulator for Android with storytel. I can not record more that 1hour and 30 minutes. I need again to press the button of storytel and it starts automatically again another 1 hour and 30 minutes. What is the problem
So anything you install on your computer stops recording at 1hour and 30 minutes. I’d be looking a memory or drive error. Something that’s running out of steam when that amount of data piles up.
Make sure your computer checks the internal memory when it starts. There is a “convenience mode” which starts the computer rapidly, but doesn’t check everything.
If you have an older computer with spinning metal hard drive (not a Solid State or Flash Drive), you can check it for health.

Thank you. I am using SSD, so I found the problem. It is in the storytel apk, which it doesn’t matter what you do , it will always pause for inactivity after one hour and 30 minutes.
