All of my connections are ok but the record bar moves but will not pick up my music. The recording settings options are Microsoft Sound Manager - Input and Microsoft Microphone Array (Senary Audio).

You do want to record from your laptop’s microphone, right?
Also, you can check your Windows Permissions/Privacy Settings to make sure Audacity is allowed to use the microphone.
