Ok, this is a simple problem I hope I am having. I have found no help in resolving this issue. Error message when I attempt to open the program.
"cprogram files audacity audacity.exe
The program has failed to start due to its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail."
I have done nothing more than download and install the latest version of Audacity 2.0.1. I am using an HP-G60 447CL Notebook PC and it has its factory settings. Using version of Windows Vista 32 bit home.
