Hi - I’ve racked my brains over this one - no luck so decided to ask the experts for advice.
Yesterday Audacity 3.7.5 was recording well. However, today Audacity opens two recording channels and records in mono in one. The top channel is labelled Audio 1.1 at the top of the channel. The recording level meter shows stereo is being recorded but the waveform shows in only one line in the bottom project.
The two channels appear if I open from the file menu “New” or when I press the record button.
The audio setup shows the recording device is Xonar Soundcard USP Audio (hwc: 1,0) Yesterday it showed (hwc: 2,o).
I’ve not changed any connections since yesterday.
I’ve checked that all the preferences settings are unchanged.
Hardware:
Turntable: Sony PS-4300
Preamp: Rega Fono Mini A2D
Tuner-Amp: Yamaha R-S300
Soundcard: Asus Xonar SE
