Can any one help
I have a new Lenovo lap tap. Ive downloaded Audacity umpteen times and the record does not work. All of the Audio settings are correct. Only difference is Realtek is replaced by Lenovo Sensay.

Don’t think so. I have it on 2 other Lenovo laptops with no problems
Just did another dl . Recording device and and recording channels both greyed out on the audio set up !!
recording devices have to be enabled in Windows before Audacity can see them.

It’s working perfectly
I thought it had worked. The record bar is moving but it’s not picking up the music I’m trying to record. Am I missing the obvious
If the music you want to record is being played on the computer, the recording device in audacity should be set to speakers, (not microphone). Recording desktop audio | Audacity Support
The 2 options I have are Microsoft Sound Mapper - input and Microphone Array (Senary Audio)
