I recorded a few Podcast episodes a while back and I used a bot on Discord that sent them to me in Audacity Project files. I have never been able to open them. I am very new to Audacity and would love any help or suggestions. I am also happy to share the files and someone could tell me if they are corrupt. There are 3 in total. I have tried a few things in the past but to no avail. Thank you very much. I am also happy to answer any questions. I would love to get this figured out.
What few things did you try?
Did you get dot-AUP3 files or dot-AUP files?
Is this the thing where the Discord Meeting Servers will record a show or interview for you rather than you trying to get your local machine to do it? I know Zoom can do that. I think Skype can, too.
Given all the troubles Audacity has with Project files, I don’t think I’d trust meeting or podcast sound distribution with them.
Or did you tell Discord to do this?
There are helper elves on the forum good with Project rescue. We can wait for one of them.

There is a section of the manual for opening broken Projects.
