hope you guys can help. all of a sudden when i go to start a new recording and click on record the start line and a red triangle appears and will not move or record. had an old version so uninstalled that and installed the lasest version but is still the same, help
What do you want to record? From what source? What is the operating system you use? What adjustments to Audacity’s settings did you make?
If you made some changes to the “factory settings” (now or before), you should try to undo them. There is a menu command “reset configuration” - or you can delete the whole settings folder while Audacity is not running (it will be re-created on start).
