Audacity new release for Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

Hi All - Please let me know if there is a plan to release audacity for Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. This will greatly help me to record , edit etc., of my favorite audio discourses.

The 22.04 AppImage should work for 24.04.

I am unable to record the desktop audio from youtube etc.,
