Audacity mixing?

I didn’t know what to put this in, but ever since like 2018, after watching a game theory vid on FNAF where he mentioned audacity, I’ve been hooked, the kind of old feel of the UI, the open source community, everything about audacity I love.

but ever since I just ****** around in a new project for the first time ive been wanting one thing, maybe it already exists, if so I’d love to know how, but I’ve always hoped someday the people behind audacity would make a studio app like FL.

you see I love FL, but there’s just something missing, and I feel like every time I go **** around in audacity that something is what I find.

love yall and cant wait to see how this place I love continues to change for the next 5, 10, hell, maybe even the next 20 years.

Apparently there are some big changes coming in version 4 but I wouldn’t expect a “full DAW”.

Somewhere they said they are moving slowly in that direction but it would be silly to wait-around for features that may never be included, or that may be included in a way that you don’t like.

Audacity has a basic mixer: Mixer - Audacity Manual
