Suddenly Audacity 2.4.2 would not export–or so I thought. It was actually mistakenly exporting mixes to my backup drive HD2 instead of HD. I think it was only the mixes–the main files were saved on regular HD desktop. My guess is that if I was moving around quickly in my Finder, somehow something got switched–an unusual occurrence that doesn’t usually come up as answer to the problem. The tipoff was that sometimes finder would say ‘that file already exists’–when it clearly did not on the HD, so I checked the backup and there it was.
