I use Mac 10.15.7 and Audacity 2.4.2. I was recording pretty well, then had to disconnect my AT2005USB mike. I reconnected and tried many times, checking my connection and setting input and output and sound levels as they should be, restarting Audacity, but it’s still not recording, Nothing. I’ve run out of ideas of what could be wrong. Anyone have any new possibilities? Thanks in advance!
Go to System Preferences > Sound > Input. Does the mic show up there? If you select it and talk into the mic does the input level meter bounce?
