I’m using ubuntu jammy jellyfish, I installed audacity from the store of the system, and when I started for the first time, it suggested to use Alsa, so I did it
snap connect audacity:alsa
My audacity version is 3.1.3
Tests made
I used a speaker, just to be sure the cassette player is working and yes, it sounds perfectly
I recorded successfully using the microphone of my headset
In the preferences I can see the USB PnP device and I set it as default, also checked in the recording software input
In the system of my ubuntu, I can see two more input devices, besides my microphone of the headset, neither of them make noise when I play the tape
Rescan the audio devices doesn’t help
What else can be done?
