Audacity Freezes when Moving Audio to Different Tracks

Hey, So i have been running into an issue with my Audacity recently.
When i move my Audio Files To another Track, it will freeze for a moment.
It’s never done this before and its only started to happen yesterday.

I’d like to add im using the CORSAIR HS80 RGB USB
I’ve never seen this issue before.
And i use Audacity Daily, having it playing up is causing my Projects to be delayed.

Since yesterday? Or did anything else change yesterday?

Is C:\, D:\, or any other drive running out of space?

If not already done, try restarting Windows like it’s 1999.

I would hit Win Key + R and execute mmsys.cpl to open the Sound window and turn off any audio input and output device you never use. Maybe even devmgmt.msc to open the Device Manager and completely disable them. Eventual automatic Windows updates might re-enable them though.
