Just letting you know Audacity 3.5.1 on Mint 21.3 xFce. I’ve tried to configurate audio to use both input (mic) output. And it freezed so that I could not start it again. Probably some wrong configuration mixing ALSA with Pipewire, 1 mono channel and pulse/pipewire. Guys I was so pissed off. I had to sudo apt purge audacity completely and reinstall. Just because some stupid configuration was not able to start again. Not speaking about missing reporting messages and logs when I tried to load Openvino plugin (tried to compiled by myself and it crashed because missing something, but no logs, no reports). And yet have to complain about one thing. When I have moved “tact control panel” (tact never worked correctly but…) when I have moved it disappeared when I have opened first audio file and I could not never ever find it again, until I have uninstall completely data purge (all settings removed from storage) and installed new installation. I send you how now the sound works fine and tact panel is fine but not visible hre
