"Audacity failed to read from a file in C:."

I was recording a relatively long audio file, (1 hour 25 minutes to be specific) and my audacity crashed after I stopped the recording, when I restarted it, I was shown a message telling me that it can recover my recordings. When I accept the recovery message I get this window instead. This is my first time using audacity as well, so I’m very confused. Need help ASAP, very important recording!

So if you care to zip up your .aup3 file, then upload it to a public file sharing service and post (or PM me) a link, I’ll take a look at it.

my audacity crashed after I stopped the recording

What were you recording? It went directly from live recording to crash when you pressed Stop?

So there is no AUP3 file or anything else?

Or is there one?
