Hi, several times the past couple weeks while recording with the very latest build as of 9/1/24, Audacity crashed. Once within about 90 minutes, it crashed twice.
The worst part of this is that after I restart it and recover the recording up to the point of crashing, and then press record to continue recording, the labels are all out of sync. I haven’t looked at it that close but it’s almost like the labels that were on time zero to the time of the crash are now spread out from Time zero to way beyond the current time on the new recording. None of the labels are remotely in sync with the audio that was recorded. I’ve confirmed this after the recording was finished and saved and then while editing. The labels are so far off that they are worthless.
I’ve had audacity crash in the past but I don’t recall the labels being out of sync for the part that was recorded prior to the crash. This seems like a new “feature”.
