I read a while ago that Audacity was having problems with the latest version of the macOS system, Catalina. Have those problems been fixed?
My macbook needs formatting and I was thinking of upgrading to Catalina, but I need Audacity to record my podcast.

The next Audacity release us currently scheduled for the end of April. Tests so far indicate that it is supported by Catalina. If you need to use Audacity before then, it may be best to wait before updating to Catalina.
