Audacity Batch Macro Dialog Stealing Focus

I’m running on Ubuntu 24.04, and I’m having a problem where I sometimes run a macro on a few dozen files at a time. This can take several minutes or longer, so I switch to another task to do something else, but each time one of those files completes running the macro, Audacity throws up a dialog box and steals focus away from whatever I was doing.

I’ve tried to find ways to mitigate this, including installing CompizConfig Settings Manager and setting the Focus Prevention Level to “Very High,” but this doesn’t seem to address the problem at all (though it does affect lots of other programs).

I see this issue has come up in the past, with not much in the way of answers. I’m hoping maybe somebody knows a way to address this. Any ideas?

This happens with a lot (probably all) dialogs and it is annoying and in some cases (with a Cancel button as the default) dangerous when you’re typing a space or Enter just when focus gets taken away.
