So I found this issue when using the Amplify feature. When I open Amplify, I see this message saying: “Amplify: Could not load settings below.
Default settings will be used.”
After clicking on OK, it sets it to the default settings. How do I fix this issue? Thanks!
So it sounds as though something got scrambled in one of your configuration files (possibly pluginsettings.cfg and pluginregistry.cfg). I would remove the audacity directory at %appdata% by renaming it to audacityx, then restart Audacity.
%appdata% is the name of a special Windows directory. To locate it, simply type that in the window at the top of any File Explorer Window.
I tried that, but it resets the app.
