Audacity 4 Question

Hello,

I am pretty sure I know the answer to this. but I thought I would ask anyway. I have some time off and I want to play around with the Alpha. I have no intention of using it for production. However, I do want to make sure that my Audacity 3.7.6 installation won’t be compromised by doing this. Is it safe to do this?

Yes. Audacity 4 creates its own preferences. I’ve had no problems.

I would make a back-up copy of the Audacity3 preferences folder, just in case …
