Hi the new UI is nice but I don’t want to create a project each time. I dont want to be prompted to save the project. I just want to open the mp3 in audacity, trim it or boost the volume then save the file back to its orig location. Maybe add an option for ‘simple mode’ or some such… Thanks!

FYI, every time you open, change, then save an mp3 file, the sound quality is reduced. So if you do this 10 times, the audio quality will be reduced dramatically.
