It can’t save keyboard shortcuts. In the previous version of Audacity, I was used to using Shift+I for Fade In and Shift+O for Fade Out. When I open the settings, manually assign these shortcuts to the respective effects, and save the settings, they work for a while. However, after I save and close the project and then restart Audacity, the shortcuts are no longer saved, and I have to set them up again.
It’s really frustrating and seems like a bug…
I haven’t had that problem yet, but when I try to edit a shortcut and save it, the program crashes to desktop. Seems to be intermittent. Guess we can expect some bugs for the time being. I was wondering if there’s a place to report bugs or see what bugs are being fixed. Been getting other CTDs for other things as well.
Im having the same issue. I use a lot of costume shortcuts and they work fine for a while and then stop working at all. I have to re-assign the shortcuts all over again. The first 3 or 4 ones I assigned work fine. But the later ones keep deleting for some reason. Its like they have a number of times you can use them and then, stop working. Sometimes they just don’t work and sometimes they are deleted and you have to re-assig them again.
Similar story here. I’ve had my shortcuts not save. I’ve also had the program crash when trying to save them. EXTREMELY frustrating… 
On my installation the immediate frustration is that the Home key does not jump me back to the start of the track - always worked on Audacity 3.x
