A 32-bit signal I recorded, in time-domain, is low-level, but I see a full sine wave when displayed as linear.
When I display the same signal as logarithmic, the samples near the zero-crossing as zeroed.

logarithmic scales necessarily need to have a lower cutoff as they can never reach 0 by definition.
You can adjust the cutoff by pressing Ctrl+Shift and scrolling on the vertical scale.
