ASIO drivers Windows 7

Recently purchased Behringer UCG 102, and downloaded Audacity 2 via exe.
Following installation, and installation of Behringer ASIO drivers, there appears to be a problem with Windows 7 recognising the interface as a recording device. Following the instructions, have right clicked over the speaker symbol, and also checked control panel. Device appears under control panel as “other devices”, and on the “speaker symbol” as audio device, but will not show up under recording devices.
Have now reinstalled three times, with same result every time.
HELP !!!. Don’t know what I am doing wrong, and would appreciate any guidance in this.
Great forum, and really looking forward to first recording.

Audacity cannot be distributed with ASIO support due to licensing reasons, however the UCG 102 should work fine with the normal Windows drivers. Ensure that the UCG 102 is connected to the computer before you start Audacity. There should then be a USB option in the Recording Input setting in the Device Toolbar.

Thanks
USB option is not showing in the toolbar.
Should I try a different ASIO driver such as ASIO4ALL?
I previously had ASIO drivers installed for ZOOM g9. Could there be a conflict ? How do I disable/uninstall the previous driver?

That won’t help. Audacity does not support ASIO.
Try using the “Rescan Audio Devices” in the Transport menu.
If that does not work, uninstall the ASIO drivers (or roll back to a previous restore point) then reboot and try again.
