Are applications of the Bass and Treble effect cumulative?

Hi everyone,

I have Audacity 2.4.2., Windows 10, and I am trying to find out for sure whether or not the Bass and Treble effect is cumulative–in other words, if I set it for -2 on Bass and 1 on Treble and 0 on Output Volume, and I apply this to a particular track, and THEN I apply it to that track again WITH those exact same settings, will this second application reduce Bass by ANOTHER 2 db and increase Treble by ANOTHER 1 db? Or would it simply be unchanged from the first application?

I would appreciate any help in clearing this matter up.
