Hi all, will Audacity get AppleScript compatibility in the future? Would be helpful when converting FLAC to AIFF and saving. Curious. THX
Audacity supports Applyscript via the “mod-script-pipe” Scripting Interface.

Reading a little bit and the suggestion is it’s not safe. Would this be true? I see it’s rather an external scripting option not built in like apps that support scripting internally. Thx for this info.
Audacity’s built-in scripting language is Nyquist.
You could try ffMPEG on the command line.
