App won't start

Windows 11 25H2 - OS Build 26200.7171
I installed Audacity 4 Alpha 2 for Windows (64 bit zip file) succesfully but all I get is the splash screen for a few seconds. The app never starts.
Same results if I start the app as Administrator

Make sure another (headless) copy of Audacity is not already running. The easiest way to ensure that would be to reboot the computer.

I have tried rebooting (multiple times).
I have also tried using Task Manager and Ending Task for Audacity. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling

Windows version missing FFMPEG files from installer and it won’t start without them. And it seem to use some special own version of FFMPEG and there seem no Windows version at the moment.

FFmpeg For Audacity is installed.

I tried something different.

I downloaded FFMPEG for Audacity and installed it
Uninstalled Audacity 4 alpha
Deleted all files/folders with anything Audacity 4
Edited the Registry and removed anything Audacity 4 related. There were a few entries that could not be deleted. I ignored those.
Rebooted
Downloaded a fresh copy of the alpha zip file and reinstalled the program
Now it works!!
