This is the third chapter in a row, chapters 13, 14 and now 15. I EEKED through the previous two fiascos but this one is coming up nothing. When chapter 13 corrupted, I was able to reaccess it by redownloading via sharing to google. Chapter 14, same situation, but only about 80% was recovered and I had to redo the rest. It was at this point that I realized I was an idiot and had been misreading my available disc space (just don’t ask) and purchased an external. I now have almost 100 gigs available on my SSD. This time however, NOTHING is working. Wont open at all, and no, the audacity project tools approach didn’t work on any of these instances. I did save the corruption log this last time if that is helpful at all, though I believe this is happening due to a cloud sync issue. If this can be recovered, I would greatly appreciate any help.

The spate of recent similar problems leads me to the same conclusion. It doesn’t help that Microsoft makes it difficult to NOT save to OneDrive automatically. I did post elsewhere on how to disable or remove OneDrive. I just don’t do Windows any more.
I had a go at this using a combination of tools and I did manage to recover something. I cannot guarantee it’s what you want. I used Audacity 3.7.7 to re-save it. You may need the same version to open it again.

So unfortunately, somehow it scrambled the audio and was repeating one line throughout while what should have been playing wasn’t. This is a sample of what it should sound like, brought to you by evilmrb. He was somehow able to magically revive, extract, summon insert your chosen verb here, the original audio despite the methodical madness known as “produced by M. R. Fahrenheit”. I thought knowing what should be playing may be helpful for development. Please let me know if I can offer further testing insight.

unfortunately, it was not. I was actually mostly blank clips. Back to the drawing board?
