Bonjour
Comment peut on amplifier les basses ?

Sorry, I don’t speak French.
In Audacity 2.0.5 there is a “Bass and Treble” effect: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/bass_and_treble.html

Thank you for this answer by return !
And sorry for the majority of the speakers in the language of William Shakespeare….
I installed the 2.0.5 and tested the new effect “serious and acute”
that answers well my question, but by using it, even by putting level dB at “0”, serious with “15” and acute with “- 15”
the result is less although the old “effect” in particular because noise level is lost.
By applying the effect several times of continuation, one loses much….
Wouldn’t there be average to download the old effect ?
The old “Bass Boost” effect is available as a Nyquist plug-in. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Plug-in_Packs_and_Legacy_Plug-ins#Bass_Boost

Re hello
and still thank you
I downloaded and installed bassboost, but, it is not similar only in the old version.
I removed Audacity 2.0.5 and downloaded the 1.2.4.
The effect names “Amplification of low” by Nasca Octavian Paul.
He gives access to the two parameters Frequencies (Hz) from 0 to 1000 and Amplification (dB) from 0 to 36
like “bassboot” but more especially with the preview.
Is it possible to obtain this old effect?
Bass Boost by Nasca Octavian Paul was built into old versions of Audacity. It was not a plug-in so it is not possible to use the old effect with new versions of Audacity.
Unfortunately “Preview” is not currently available in Nyquist plug-ins.
Built-in effects are usually translated into many languages, but plug-ins are not translated so the control in the plug-in version are in English.
The two controls in the plug-in version have exactly the same effect as the two controls in the old version.
One benefit of the plug-in version is that the original version would “clip” (distort) if the output was greater than 0 dB. With the plug-in version, if your track is 32 bit float format and you boost the level so that the sound distorts, you can recover the non-clipped audio by using the “Amplify” effect.
I have attempted to translate the plug-in into French for you.

The other alternative is that you can boost the bass frequencies using the Equalization effect: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Equalization/fr
