Adding ACX Plug in's from a download

I can’t figure out how to download the ACX plug ins from the downloads. I don’t see where to enter the coding. Help please.

Then install … Nyquist Plugin Installer - Audacity Manual

When I go to download it, I just get code, do you know where does the code go?

I saved the text under downloads, then used the nyquist plug in installer, and it says success but i dont see any new plug ins on my effect options.. why is this so difficult?

Usually, I hit download and the computer does everything, downloads & then installs on the program it s associated with. This is having me save a file then open then save another code to open …

I have read this page, and am still at a loss. I am saving the code text to notepad then under downloads.

The last step is to go to the Plugin Manager and Enable the ACX Check plugin.

There is no ACX plug in to Enable, Everything is already enabled

If the Nyquist Plugin Installer said “success”, the plugin should be in the list in the Plugin Manager. Perhaps try again to install it.
