i added one plugin to the rack that efffects thje whole project, it was Blue Cat’s Audio FreqAnalyst (Stereo)
(their other plugins work fine). Now, it crashed the software and i cant do anything after i open it up again. I cant open to see the plugin’s of ANY track or play the audio or export. The plugin doesnt even change the audio it just shows frequencies. Please what can i do i spent so much time in that project.
Just FYI - Compatibility is up to the plug-in developer.
With most commercial plug-ins there is a list of officially supported hosts. If you go to the AutoTune website you’ll find a list of supported hosts. (Audacity is not on the list.) Sometimes it will work if not officially supported but you have to try the trial version and then it may stop working if the plug-in or host are upgraded.
With free plug-ins it’s usually hit-or-miss.
copying the project to another Audacity window may enable you the disable the realtime plugin causing the problem and salvage the project.
