Hello I wish to add a second song to the first so they play continuous the songs are already two MP3 files

Are you importing the songs from audio files, or recording them?

Sorry Steve I edited my post just as you was answering. Two mp3 files

  1. Import both files
  2. Zoom out so that you can see sufficient empty space beyond the end of the tracks (see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/zooming.html)
  3. Drag one file to the right with the Time Shift Tool.


    There’s a slightly quicker way using “Align Tracks”, but I’d recommend doing it manually first. (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tracks_menu_align_tracks.html)
