ACON deverb plug-in

I have Windows 10 Pro version 1903. I have Audacity version 2.3.3.

I downloaded the ACON DeVerberate plug-in, 32-bit, which show up as the following three files: unis100.dat (data file), unis.exe (application), unis.msg (MSG). I copied all three files into the Audacity Plug-in sub-folder.

When I go the Effects>Add/Remove plug-ins in Audacity none of these files shows up. This plug-in is VST supported, which I understand is now built into the Audacity version I have.

What am I doing wrong? I really would like to use this plug-in.

Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

A VST effect should be a DLL file.

I tried it and I got different files - I got a file named DeVerberate_Win32_2_0_7.exe, I double-clicked and selected the VST installation. That gave me a file called DeVerberate.dll which I copied into the plug-in folder and it works (with gaps, presumably added for the demo mode).

Many thanks. I now have the demo playing in Audacity. Stay well and safe. I may have to call on your expertise again.
