4 tracks with Behringer UMC404HD show as 1 stereo + 2 mono tracks

I have my UMC404HD recording 4 tracks to Audacity successfully, but when I click Record, one stereo track plus 2 mono tracks are created. I can just go in and split the stereo track into 2 mono tracks, but I’d rather not have to do it each time. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes. Update to Audacity 2.4.2: Audacity ® | Download for Windows

Any news from Behringer about making drivers available for 4 channel recording (without ASIO)?

Yes. Update to Audacity 2.4.2:

2.4.2 fixed the issue, many thanks. I still have issues trying to Append Record but I’ll put that in a separate post.

Any news from Behringer about making drivers available for 4 channel recording (without ASIO)?

The person I ended up getting a response from was from www.musictribe.com, which seems to be some sort of umbrella support for lots of brands including Behringer, so I’m not sure how close he can get to Behringer. He was pretty responsive and helpful though, and I’ll keep trying.

Please do let us know about any updates - we hear from quite a few people that want to use the full potential of UMC404HD with Audacity and it would be very helpful if we could direct them to an official download location for the necessary drivers.
