32 bit FFmpeg dll necessary for Audacity 64 bit?

Windows 10 Home 21H1 (64 bit)
Audacity 3.1.3 (64 bit)
FFmpeg v 2.2.2 for Audacity (64 bit)

After installation of the software mentioned Audacity.Preferences.Libraries states: FFmpeg library not found.

I performed manual location to C:\Program Files\FFmpeg For Audacity\avformat-55.dll. After OK there is no error but the FFmeg library is still not found. In the attachment I send you the diagnostics log. I am not an expert but the log states that C:\Program Files\FFmpeg For Audacity\avformat-55.dll is not a valid WIN32 program (error 193)?? That seems about right to me and necessary for Audacity 64 bit!

I’m looking forward at your comments to make the FFmpeg libraries available.

I don’t know why you’re getting an error, but no. The 32-bit version of FFmpeg doesn’t work with 64-bit Audacity. (I deleted it.)

Thanks for your reply DVDdoug. Clicking around I discovered a problem with my installation of Audacity. In installed windows programs there was Audacity 3.1.3, but in the application itself it mentioned 2.4.2. (!) After deleting Audacity and reinstalling 3.1.3 the FFmeg-library was found. SOLVED
